About Me

This is a graphic design of a lotus flower. The background is solid black and the flower has thick outlines of the lotus pedals in gold. This image is used because of the what a lotus flower symbolizes. In Hinduism, the lotus flower represents the spiritual awaking of life, which is a result of fighting through darkness or hard times and overcoming them to reach the light.

My Approach…

I provide a laid back holistic client-centered approach to therapy and coaching where my clients are treated with kindness, human dignity, and compassion.  Once you step into my office, you are in a judgment free zone and welcomed to be yourself, without any worries.

I believe that meaningful relationships are created only when there is absolute trust on both sides.  For my part,  I take time to create an atmosphere where you feel safe sharing all that is sacred.  My style is one where I work collaboratively with you.  While I may  have some insights, I believe you are the expert of your own story.

I support people from all walks of life who live with severe to mild mental health issues. In addition, I assist in life transitions, relationship challenges, work-related issues, and trauma. I use a Narrative approach where the focus is not on the individual. Instead, it is externalized on the problem or behavior that bought the individual to my door.  This allows for me to come from a place that does not focus on pathology or dysfunctions.

Another words, while your diagnoses might be helpful to understand, it is not necessary to move forward in finding your own answers.  What is important is a willingness to work and explore solutions that empower you to make choices that lead to a lasting and permanent change.
